Little Falls, Minn (May 6, 2014) – Marquis Larson Group has entered into a sales representative relationship with Roberto Cox, to support the sales of Larson, Larson FX, Larson Escape, Striper fishing boats, Triumph, Marquis and Carver Yachts in Latin America and Caribbean.
"Roberto and I have worked together for many years at Sea Ray where we grew market share and introduced many people to the joys of boating," said Rob Parmentier, Marquis Larson Group President & CEO. "Roberto's knowledge of the market will quickly advance our strategy to expand our dealer network and grow internationally," added Parmentier.
Roberto has spent 20–years in the marine business. For the last 18–years, Cox has been fostering relationships and growing the sales for Brunswick's Mercury Marine and Brunswick Boat Group subsidiaries focused on the Latin American and Caribbean market. "The Larson Boat Group and Marquis Yachts brands are well positioned to provide Roberto with the products to succeed in growing our Latin American and Caribbean dealer network and retail sales," stated Parmentier. "I am excited to be part of the resurgence of a storied company and brands with all of the potential to become a global player, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean," said Cox.
To support Roberto and the current Larson Boat Group and Marquis Yachts sales force as well as the global network of dealer partners, Matthew Vetzner has been promoted to Director of Marketing for the combined group. "Matthew has proven himself to quickly entrench himself into the marketing programs of both companies supporting our strategy to grow sales through customer interactions – both dealer and boat buyers," offered Parmentier.
Additionally, current Larson Boat Group Vice President of Sales Patrick Blake, will take over the responsibilities of managing the Marquis Carver sales group transforming the sales operations at Marquis Yachts.
